All AGBU camps are well equipped with modern facilities and expert staff who create a safe and positive environment for every participant. Whether they are doing arts and crafts, fishing, hiking, riding horses, playing music or swimming, AGBU campers are always learning and – most importantly – having fun. Our special focus on language, song, dance and history instills in campersa love of Armenian traditions that keeps them coming back each summer, with many continuing on as counselors.
AGBU opened its first camp, Camp Nubar, in the scenic Catskill Mountains of upstate New York in 1963. Since then, we have welcomed generations of young people to AGBU camps in all corners of the world, including in Dilijian, Armenia where AGBU operates a camp for an international gathering of AGBU Scouts each summer. To find out more about AGBU camps and to register, please email youth@agbu.org.
