AGBU Germany was founded in 2020 as the first full-fledged chapter of the Armenian General Benevolent Union in Germany. Headquartered in the German capital Berlin, AGBU Germany is committed to serving the needs of the Armenian Diaspora throughout Germany. The chapter was established in the awareness of its responsibility towards the Armenians in Germany, Armenia, Artsakh and in the Diaspora. Inspired by the unwavering determination of its mother organization AGBU, and in appreciation and recognition of its continuous achievements in more than 70 regions in the world, the chapter fits as a German link into the ranks of international AGBU chapters as well as into the global Armenian nation.

AGBU HAIK

The partnership between AGBU and HAIK was initiated at the 2006 AGBU Project Exchange & Development Seminar in Brussels, Belgium, which sought to engage young Armenians throughout Europe. The AGBU-HAIK office opened its doors in 2008, and since then, the two organization have worked in close partnership to strengthen and unify the country’s Armenian community, particularly through local university students.
