Conference: “Antiracist Movement, Diaspora, Requests and Our Responsibilities”

Bilgi University (in Istanbul) will host a conference this friday titled: “Antiracist Movement, Diaspora, Requests and Our Responsibilities”. This event follows another conference hold at Bilgi recently which title was: “Armenians, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia” (Bir Zamanlar Ermeniler).

The three speakers are the following:

o   Benjamin will be talking on EGAM’s role in antiracist movement and its affiliation with several commemorations taking place across Europe.

o   Nicolas will be talking about what is AGBU, what does diaspora mean, how the people in diaspora assess the events taking place in Turkey and the diversity of diaspora itself and the demands from Turkey depending on this diversity.

o   A spokesperson from Durde will be talking about what Durde has been doing here in the name of antiracist movement and the commemoration.
