New educational tool to spread the teaching of the 1915 genocide in Belgium

AGBU Europe is pleased to announce the release of a new educational package on the 1915 genocide for French speaking high schools in Belgium.

The package includes an updated study guide on the genocide in French as well as a series of online videos adding various insights to the subject and to the historical link between Armenians and Belgium.

The study guide is adapted and translated from The Promise Study Guide, created by ThePromisetoAct.org in reference to the film The Promise directed by Terry George.

Produced by AGBU, under the label AGBU WebTalks, a series of online videos include four new segments in French with Belgian historian Bernard Coulie, as well as three existing segments subtitled in French. This series of videos highlights various aspect of the genocide, from the role of women to the one of the Kurds, including the step by step process of the genocide, the genocide of the Pontic Greeks and of the Assyrians, the historical link between Armenians and Belgium and the process of recognition of the genocide in Belgium.
