AGBU Armenian Choir ANI dedicates its concert in Vienna to the centennial of the 1st Armenian Republic

On May 31st, AGBU Armenian choir “ANI” gave a concert at the City Hall in Vienna on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the 1st Armenian Republic. The concert entitled “The Ringing Bells” referred to the famous song “Sardarapat” and to the historic victory of the battle that bears the same name. Over 200 guests attended the event and had the opportunity to listen to a wide musical repertoire, ranging from “Hayr mer” and the national anthem of Armenia to” Musaler” and “Sardarapat”, inlcuding Armenian folk songs, selected works by the great Komitas, to conclude with the song “Erebuni-Yerevan”, symbol of home and hope for Armenians all over the world.
