On March 25, in Brussels, the Armenian Committee of Belgium, in collaboration with AGBU YP Belgium and Hayasa, held its first Armenian Youth Congress of Belgium. The congress brought together more than 80 Armenian students and young professionals in Belgium to discuss sociopolitical topics that directly affect their lives as Armenians in Belgium. Participants learned more about the importance of youth involvement and shared their views on their role and their potential to have a long-term impact on the Armenian community and civil society in Belgium. The panels included “The Multiple Ways to be Armenian in Belgium,” “Political Involvement among the Youth,” and “What is Expected from the Young Armenians of Belgium?”
