The movie The Promise will be released in Europe in the spring of 2017. The film is a beautiful love story set against the tragic backdrop of the Armenian genocide in 1915. Produced by Survival Pictures and directed by Terry George, The Promise is the first feature film of this scale to shed light on the Armenian genocide.  It is scheduled for release on April 21 in the US, April 27 in Armenia, April 28 in the UK and Ireland, May 5 in Poland, May 19 in Sweden, June 2 in Spain, June 14 in Belgium, June 15 in The Netherlands, and August 17 in Germany and Hungary.

AGBU partners with the movie producer in the launch of the movie. The premiere in Hollywood, on April 21, will feature a fundraiser and an opportunity to meet Christian Bale, Christ Cornell, Serj Tankian, Angela Sarafyan and Terry George. More information
